Portal access allows a person to sign in to your church’s ChurchTrakr portal. Invitations are sent by email using a secure account setup or verification link.
Before sending an invitation
Confirm that the person’s profile has a valid email address. ChurchTrakr cannot send portal access to a person without one.
Invite one person
- Go to People.
- Open the person’s profile.
- Locate the portal access section.
- Select the option to send portal access.
The profile shows the person’s current portal state, such as Not invited, Invitation sent, Verification pending, Active, or Inactive.
Invite several people
- Open Advanced People Search and find the appropriate people.
- Select the checkboxes beside the people you want to invite.
- Open Actions and select Invite to Portal.
- Review the number of selected people and select Send Invitations.
People who already have active portal accounts are skipped. The results indicate how many invitations were sent, skipped, or failed.
If an invitation cannot be sent
- Confirm that the person has a valid email address.
- Check whether their portal account is already active.
- Open the person’s profile to review their current portal status.
NOTE: A member/guest can go to https://portal.churchtrakr.com, find your church and then register for an account as well as you inviting them to. This is also where they go to login once they have credentials.
