Customize, Cancel, or Restore a Worship Service Occurrence

A recurring worship service creates individual occurrences. You can change or cancel one occurrence without changing the main recurring schedule.

Find an occurrence

1. Open Gatherings → Worship Services.
2. Select the recurring worship service.
3. Scroll to Event Series.
4. Use the Start Date and End Date filters to locate the service date.

Customize and plan one occurrence

1. Find the future occurrence you want to change.
2. Select Customize & Plan.
3. Update the occurrence-specific details or connect its service plan.
4. Save your changes.

Cancel or restore an occurrence

1. Find the occurrence in the Event Series list.
2. Select Cancel to mark that date as cancelled.
3. To reverse the cancellation, select Restore.

Past occurrences are shown as completed and cannot be customized or cancelled. Changes made to one occurrence do not alter the schedule for the rest of the recurring series.
